We celebrated Fat Tuesday tonight.
Pancakes for dinner... and King Cake.
Laughter and stories.
And I remember how much I love New Orleans.
After Mardi Gras.
Way after Mardi Gras.
When the craziness ends and real life resumes.
It is where my faith grew by leaps and bounds.
The most ever. Ever.
And soon...
I'll revisit the experience...
dawn! i'm so happy i found your journal here ... i'll definitely be back!! many blessings to you ...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read all about it!
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about Fat Tuesday. I mean, I know that it is the day before Lent begins. But I've never celebrated it or eaten one of those colorful things in your picture.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I might be missing out...
Now I want to hear the story! Actually IN New Orleans? Did you live there? Or did something happen on a visit there?
ReplyDeleteRevisit it soon, would you? :)
Oh my gosh girlie,do you have a southern accent?? For some reason I pictured you as a transplanted northern lady!!
