The acceptance of her acceptance to Zoo College. This dream is long-awaited, born on a Saturday morning, while snuggled up in front of the t.v. in our jammies, watching Jack Hanna. But perhaps, this dream was planted long ago...

Sometimes I still wonder what I want to do when I grow up... and
she knows. She is taking the steps to make her dream a reality, and not afraid of the hard work it will take to get her there. I sometimes wander the path of the
what-ifs, especially when it comes to assessing
how I mother and if I have done or taught enough... because when the clock ticks
eighteen, most of the hands-on teaching must be done and flying school begins.
But today I celebrate this brave girl and her dream... and know that wherever her dreams take her, she will make them beautiful.
Oh, Dawn! How RIGHT for Laura. I'm so glad!! And this college is in Florida? I'm doubly glad!
