This goes out today...
The acceptance of her acceptance to Zoo College. This dream is long-awaited, born on a Saturday morning, while snuggled up in front of the t.v. in our jammies, watching Jack Hanna. But perhaps, this dream was planted long ago...

Sometimes I still wonder what I want to do when I grow up... and
she knows. She is taking the steps to make her dream a reality, and not afraid of the hard work it will take to get her there. I sometimes wander the path of the
what-ifs, especially when it comes to assessing
how I mother and if I have done or taught enough... because when the clock ticks
eighteen, most of the hands-on teaching must be done and flying school begins.
But today I celebrate this brave girl and her dream... and know that wherever her dreams take her, she will make them beautiful.
